I am trying to figure out if it is possible to use only part of a the category title variable "#%title%#".

For example in articles I have a category named "Alternative Medicine Articles".

Ideally I would like to be able to pass "Alternative Medicine" to the amazon script on the page.

If it should always show the first 2 words from the title, I can create a new variable for this purpose. If it should show different values, you can use some of the custom fields for it (and the related variable).

Thanks.

The most flexible method would seem to be for me to create some variables that I can add terms to in a category form.

So I create a user defined item.

It had the number 3.

So I replaced, in the amazon search form, #%title%# with #%user_item_value_3%#.

And it worked great.

I'll update the variable in other article categories and off we go. Smile

Thanks.
