Please edit the file index.php, lines 30-34. There are 3 occurrences of the number 2. Replace all of them with the required number of columns. Also replace the value 2 in the template index.html in "colspan=2".

After I changed it all to 3 it looks strange, it is still two cols and the second one just have every sercond row a word like that:
<table border=0 width=550 cellpadding=5 cellspacing=0>
<TR><TD class="cell3" align="center" nowrap colspan=3><span class="text13b_bold"><b>Choose a country</b></span></TD></TR>
<tr><td align="left" class="cell2">

<a href="category.php?category=21"><b>Albania</b></a>
</td>
<tr><td align="left" class="cell2">
<a href="category.php?category=22"><b>Andorra</b></a>
</td>
<td align="left" class="cell2">
<a href="category.php?category=18"><b>Antarctic Region</b></a>
</td>
</tr><tr><td align="left" class="cell2">
<a href="category.php?category=17"><b>Arctic Region</b></a>
</td>
<tr><td align="left" class="cell2">
<a href="category.php?category=23"><b>Armenia</b></a>

</td>
<td align="left" class="cell2">
<a href="category.php?category=24"><b>Austria</b></a>
</td>
</tr><tr><td align="left" class="cell2">
<a href="category.php?category=4"><b>Denmark</b></a>
</td>
<tr><td align="left" class="cell2">
<a href="category.php?category=7"><b>England</b></a>
</td>
<td align="left" class="cell2">
<a href="category.php?category=10"><b>Faroe Islands</b></a>
</td>

</tr><tr><td align="left" class="cell2">
<a href="category.php?category=2"><b>Finland</b></a>
</td>
<tr><td align="left" class="cell2">
<a href="category.php?category=14"><b>France</b></a>
</td>
<td align="left" class="cell2">
<a href="category.php?category=6"><b>Germany</b></a>
</td>
</tr><tr><td align="left" class="cell2">
<a href="category.php?category=12"><b>Greece</b></a>
</td>
<tr><td align="left" class="cell2">

<a href="category.php?category=20"><b>Greenland</b></a>
</td>
<td align="left" class="cell2">
<a href="category.php?category=16"><b>Iceland</b></a>
</td>
</tr><tr><td align="left" class="cell2">
<a href="category.php?category=9"><b>Ireland</b></a>
</td>
<tr><td align="left" class="cell2">
<a href="category.php?category=15"><b>Netherlands</b></a>
</td>
<td align="left" class="cell2">
<a href="category.php?category=1"><b>Norway</b></a>

</td>
</tr><tr><td align="left" class="cell2">
<a href="category.php?category=19"><b>Scottland</b></a>
</td>
<tr><td align="left" class="cell2">
<a href="category.php?category=13"><b>Spain</b></a>
</td>
<td align="left" class="cell2">
<a href="category.php?category=3"><b>Sweden</b></a>
</td>
</tr><tr><td align="left" class="cell2">
<a href="category.php?category=8"><b>Wales</b></a>
</td>

<tr><td align="left" class="cell2">
<a href="category.php?category=11"><b>World / Space</b></a>
</td>
<td align="left" class="cell2">
<a href="category.php?category="><b></b></a>
</td>
</tr>
</table>

i also changed the colspan to 3 in the other index.html
I changed the index.php to:

include('./common.php');
if ($_GET[action]=='searched') searched($_GET);
$q = dq("select number,name from $s[pr]cats order by name",1);
while ($c = mysql_fetch_assoc($q))
{ $a[total] = $a[total] + $c[links];
  $pocet = $pocet + 1;
  if($pocet%3) $s[categories] .= '<tr>';
  $s[categories] .= parse_part('index_cats.txt',$c);
  if(!($pocet%3)) $s[categories] .= '</tr>';
}
if ($pocet % 3)
{ $s[categories] .= parse_part('index_cats.txt',$o);
  $s[categories] .= '</tr>';
}

thank you in advanced for your time and help.
