Hi Richard,

Is there a way to add a sub category to many categories? or copy many subs to another category.

My directory structure just keeps on repeating same subs for all parent cats.

like this:

Country --> Culture
------------> Politics
------------> Education
------------> Economy
------------> etc....

I have to repeat this 22 times. I tried the copy feature and while it did a perfect job, it can only work on one sub category. My index finger and eyes started hurting (Exaguration!)

If this is not possible at the moment, can it be added for next update? I'll stay around

You can create a text file with the list of subcategories and then import them to individual subcategories in administration => import. If needed, I also can assist you with the file.

Richard!

I was thinking!

There are very few scripts out there, called Craig List Clone, that are available. In fact only 2 , so far that I have seen. One cheap but crappy support, one more expensive but with good support.

The way I just read this post, and tell me if I am right or wrong:

1) I create main cats with the name of all the countries.
2) whatever sub cats I have, let's say 100 sub-cats, than I could import all of them under each one of the countries?

Bottom line, if I have 100 countries, it will means 100 x 100= 10,000 CATs + Sub-cats.

Do I read it correctly?

Aldoseri wanted to create the same subcategories under different main categories. This is what I suggested. Craig List is a classifieds site, it's something else than Link Up Gold.
