'Bungie Day' To See Release Of New Halo 3 DLC |
Microsoft has announced that July 7th will see the release of a new Halo 3 multiplayer map, as well as a number of other gamer pics and themes and a drop in price for the last DLC set, in honor of the so-called 'Bungie Day.' 10 Million In GTA IV Unit Sales Push Take-Two To Record Q3 |
Continuing strong sales of Grand Theft Auto IV, along with Top Spin 3 and Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution propelled Take-Two to a new record quarter, the fifth one in a row that it has beaten its own expectations. Take-Two's sales for the third fiscal quarter were $433.8 million, up from $206.4 million for the same period last year. Following recent news that publisher 10tacle would be acquiring Berlin's The Games Company (Simon the Sorcerer) the companies have announced that, instead, the latter will move away from the former and maintain its autonomy. 2K Games Signs Havok For Wii Titles |
Officials from middleware provider Havok have announced that the company has entered into a licensing agreement with Take-Two Interactive subsidiary 2K Games, for the company's eponymous physics engine. QA and project management tools vendor Hansoft announced that Montreal-based A2M has adopted its production management solution. Hansoft includes project and document management, bug tracking and workload coordination tools, and the company says it's currently used by developers in 20 countries.
