Hi Richard,

Can you give me a basic idea of how to construct a publishers place page? Basically, I'd like to know how to construct the page.

Would I base it on the similarity of a banner index page, only the publishers would put their ads on it? Also about the structure, I know I could basically output nearly anything from the sql db onto the page, ex: number of impression / clicks etc..etc.. I just need a basic idea for the publishers place page. I forgot to check in the amp templates to see if there was one already there. I will check back on this post, however.

Thanks again Richard.
-Brian

By default it doesn't show a list of pubisher places. If you want to create such public list, you can take the data in the table amp_p_pl. I also can do it for you.

Hey Richard,

Is it a good idea to use the same ad types for both advertisers and publishers? Or should I create separate ad types only for publishers? I guess what I am trying to say is, will it slow down the display of advertisers ads on the index pages of my site?

Note: I am still working on the publisher places page. Will let you know when I have a problem.

Thanks again!

Advertisers and publishers should use the same ad types because (as I presume) you need publishers to show ads of your advertisers. If there will be used different ad types, they will not be able to show these ads.

Makes sense! Thanks for clarifying that. I guess I just wasn't thinking about it that way.

Thanks again!
