|
|
It is recommended to this once a month:
| Quote: |
Reset monthly statistic (this job last done: 06/09/2005, 12:57)
It resets monthly statistic (numbers of hits in/out) to zero.
(This should be done automatically once a month, however if you need to do it manually, use this function) |
If you dont do it, it will slow down the system. On the other hand, if you flush the stats, you loose them.
Suggestion:
Why not a reset and keep stats feature??
On reset, the stats are moved to another table, where on request, they culd be seen. It could be just a table and cell stats, on the right the month, on the letft side of the table ths stats: click in, click ou etc.
My $0.02

Roger,
Thank you for the suggestion however I have to correct your post a little. If you will not delete the monthly statistic, it will not slow the system down but the statistic will not be accurate as it will display the hits from previous month(s) as hits generated in the current month. |

I thought the reason to flush the stats was to "relief" the server!
Wrong!
