How well can link up pro integrate with existing sites?

Is the source locked?

Can I manage a number of sites from the one console back end? (multisite style has anyone done a multisite mod?)
Thanks, Garry. Australia

Link Up Gold creates a complete site, it can't be integrated under another site. You however can install it to a subfolder of another site.

The source code is editable.

Each site has its own admin area. If you will install it multiple times, you can create a framed page with links to all the admin areas, so you can easily switch between them.

Thankyou so much, great answer
Perhaps I could re-phrase
If it was installed to a subdirectory
Could various or all modules be php included into an existing site?
Has anyone ever built a event calendar addon or do you guy's have an event calendar planned?
I like this software for town/region community portal, I am not knocking it at all, this looks like a brilliant work.
ability to publish events seems the thing missing for geo /town style website

By default it's possible to use a javascript code to include newest links, articles, news, blogs and videos to another website. It can be used on webpages on the same or on another server. There is not available the option to include parts of the directory to another site by using php commands.

In the edit form for links, articles etc is the option to set an expiration date. The expiration date could be used as the event date. If you use or can install a calendar tool which generates links which contain the required date (like for example somepage.php?date=2012-04-19), we can modify Link Up Gold, so it can read this date and show items with this date in the expiration date (event date) field.

The way I integrated LinkUp Gold with my other websites is through RSS feed aggregators. It can be added to wordpress or joomla through a component or a plugin.

On a plain HTML website I used Rss2html script and created many websites on autopilot. All of them advertising my main website and ads. This is a good SEO for your website.
